Autumn in the Mountains

The weather has been stellar.  Mid to upper 70s during the day and low 50s at night.  The sky has been spectacular with deep blue sky and the Milky Way every night!  The cool crops are enjoying the change in weather.  We will soon have lettuce, broccoli, cauliflower, cabbage and more beets.  The arugula has started coming on and it is wonderful, nice and spicy. Tomatoes are slowing down but still producing.

Today we made our beds for the hoop house and will be planting arugula, beets, kale, spinach and lettuce.  We will be providing produce throughout the winter so if you are interested please let us know.

Fly fishing is about to ramp up on the creek.  The first stocking will be the 1st Monday of October so be sure to make your cabin reservation to take advantage of the great fishing.
